Author's notes: Ok, evidently residents of the inner circle of HELL dwell in my new office and they keep possesing my muse. This WAS supposed to be a little bedtime story for Tex, but once more it reamed clear of my control...

AWHOOOGA!! AWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOGA!!! The D word!! You know, clutching of throat, thrashing on the floor, turning purple and ending up as worm food..ya know, D-E-A-T-H

BUT...right on the arse of this one (pun intended) will be the one I wrote to make it up to her...

Love is...
By Taleya

There he was

Blair grinned, rubbing his eyes a little, wired on a white line and feeling nooooo pain.

The dream john. Big, strong, body to die for and so gentle it was incredible. Word had it, if you looked pathetic enough he'd take you to a hotel room, feed you, give you enough money to smack for a week.

And no fuck. The guy was a hooker's dream!

But Blair wasn't hungry, he was humming with drugs and man did he fancy a piece of Mr. White Bread.

Tugging a little tighter on his raggedy jacket, he exaggeratedly fluffed his sleeves and collar, stepping out from the doorway and into the alley.

He fluffed his hair a little as he fell into the strut, loosening the top button his shirt, the tight jeans showing off his best assets . He took pains to keep his hair and clothes clean, no one wanted a dirty fuck, clean pale meat went for a better price anyway. He fingered the tattered condom packet in his pocket, then tossed it. Bareback time.

A wolfish grin split over his face as he got nearer, the big man pushing away from some grimy slut, makeup like shit and clothes that were rags. Like that no hoper ever had a chance!

He stopped, a few steps short, letting his presence slowly permeate, no reason to scare him, eyes widening a little as the big man sniffed the air, almost as if catching his scent then turned to face

god he's gorgeous!

The one thought ran through two minds at the same moment as time seemed to slow and stop, trapping them in this fragment of reality

"Hey big guy." Blair winced at the staid, stale come on line, then dropped his voice to a husky whisper. "Looking for someone?"

"I think I found him."

"Really?" Blair moved closer, letting the big man's hands reach out to him, turning his face into the soft palm that caressed his cheek, kissing the wrist and bestowing a long, languorous lick on the palm. He tasted sweat, desire, and moved closer, the wild animal moving in for the kill, taking hold of the taller man's palm and leading him gently into a bar.

Make it last. Make it good. Maybe then the pain will go away

There were drinks, games, a smoky pool table, images and memories skeeting past his watering eyes, never losing contact with that strong, lithe body that drew him in and trapped him like a fly in amber

The night closed in and shut down, a few, scattered hard drinkers left in the bar, the two of them, playing pool, chalking cues, bending slowly over the tables in a teasing dance.

Until, finally, Blair couldn't take it any more, face to face, moulding himself to Jim, arms rising to hook around his neck and pressing tight

A hand slipped between them, tight jeans falling to the floor, revealing naked flesh underneath and the other man's arms fluttered, then tightened as Blair swung his legs up, hooking them around his waist and starting a slow, gentle, teasing rocking movement

Jim buried his face in the mop of curls, inhaling deeply the other man's scent, moaning and thrust involuntarily as a small hand slowly slid between them to caress his chest, his hips, wrapping around the zip of his jeans and pulling them down.

Slender, bruised finger wrapped around aching flesh, guiding it higher, the ragged coat Blair was wearing hiding the view as he slid down, onto it, head falling back and a moan breaking from his throat at the sensation of fullness.

It had never been like this before! So warm, so soft, so tender, little thrusts teasing and pleasuring him, the taller man's hand's roaming over his body, driving him wild with pleasure, mouth, hands, body, all wrapped around him, all for him.

He came with a shuddering cry, feeling his bones turn to soft water as he slumped, loose, powerless in the arms of this god.

He felt Jim nestle his head in the juncture of his neck, soft, frantic pants slowing down to a gentle rhythm, lips still moving gently, bestowing tender, fragile kisses. Taking it away, taking it all away, taking the pain, the self-disgust, everything away from him and Blair leaned closer, nestling further, becoming a part, a whole as his heart slowed and began to stutter

And with a growing awe, he realised what this was.

Love

It was nothing he'd imagined, this perfection, this bliss he was in awe of this feeling, these sensations. The world began to dim around him, and he was vaguely aware of a struggle to breathe, but it was forgotten, lost as he basked in this feeling, trying to find comparisons, love was....love was....

It was incomparable.

His head fell forward, cheek against Jim's feeling the whisper of his breath against one ear, a sudden movement, Jim was aware something was wrong, he was losing control of his body, giving over to the darkness, the drugs, they must have been bad, there must have been something wrong, there must have..

But it didn't matter, nothing mattered but this feeling, this being, unsullied, whole, bright, he had finally touched the golden dream at the top of the mountain, held it in his hand for brief, pure second.

Jim's arms tightened around, laying him back, the velvet of the pool table at his back, forgotten, the other man shouting, but Blair couldn't hear him, half-slitted eyes staring curiously at the silent words from a moving mouth, hovering over his body, tugging at his clothes, screaming.

And as the final breath shuddered from his lips, Blair suddenly found his comparison.

Love was like dying

The world is full of refugees
Just like you and just like me
But as people we have a choice
To end the void with all its force
So don't forget or don't pretend
It's all the same now in the end
It was said in a different life
Destroys my days and haunts my night
