852 Prospect Posting Interface

This web page will automatically create a part 0 for your story, split your story up into 600-line sections, post it to the lists you select and archive it here on this web site.

Instructions

If you follow these intructions, especially the first three items, your story will look much better when archived or posted to the lists. Please also read and follow the directions in the Text Help Page before you post a story.

• Do NOT put any HTML code in your story file.
• Do NOT indent any paragraphs or dialog in your story file, all lines of text should be flush with the left margin.
• DO put a blank line between each paragraph or line of dialog.
• To italicize, underline or bold text, please follow the directions in the Text Help Page.
• Please fill out all fields that aren't specifically labelled as optional.
• Please note that only text files can be posted to a mailing list, and this archive only supports the text files for archiving.
• For text input entries like title and author name, make sure that you capitalize the information exactly as you wish it to appear in the archive.
• Please do not include special characters (exclamation points, question marks, ampersands, etc.) in author names. For security purposes, we cannot accept these characters.
• Please double-check all the information you have included before submitting!

Hotmail users please read! Currently Hotmail is not accepting emails from the posting interface. If you're selecting "Yes" to have the story emailed to you, please enter a different email address in the Email box, your ISP address, a Yahoo mail address, or another free email provider (Gmail is a good one). Then when you're ready to archive it and post it to lists, enter your Hotmail address in the Email box. Our apologies for the inconvenience, but this is beyond our control and it affects all servers using the Automated Archive

It looks like your browser can't handle file uploads. To double-check, look below and see whether there's a Browse... button in the File to upload field. If it's there, great, you can do uploads. If not, that means that you can't use this to archive your story or to post it to 852 Prospect.

However, you can still use the posting interface to post the template (the part 0) to the list. Then you'll just have to post your story to the list yourself. The archivists will use the template to archive your story if you would like it archived, it will just take a little longer.

Alternatively, you can download either Netscape version 2.0 or above or Microsoft Internet Explorer version 4.0 or above, or have a friend with one of those browsers post the story for you.
