Some problems with bandwidth logging on the Vox Populli server are being corrected right now, this may result in the 852prospect.org site being down for the next hour or so.

I’ve set up a mirror of the archive at:
Uploading stories is disabled so that there’s no duplication or loss of stories when Squidge is working again but everything else works, the stories are there, the Quicksearch links work and so does the search engine.
ETA: As of 2/7/2006, Squidge is now the mirror site with the primary site being at www.852prospect.org and uploading is disabled at Squidge.
Squidge is still down

Squidge has been down for several days now. I don’t have any info on when it will be back up again – I’m sure Walter’s working hard to get it up and running again as soon as possible.
As a temporary fix, I am uploading the archive to one of my domains, it’ll take a few hours to get it set up and running, as soon it’s working, I’ll post the temporary url here as well as to SXF and Senad.

Squidge appears to be down, we don’t have any info on when it will be up again. I’m sure Walter is working to get it up and running again as soon as possible.

There was an outage on Squidge earlier, problem on the server that Walter has fixed now. He will be rebooting the server tho so there may be another brief outage.

Upload and search forms not working

Please note that the upload and search forms are still experiencing problems. The best way to find stories to read is thru the Quicksearch page, these are static html pages. (Note that the “more results” buttons won’t work tho.)
We’ll post a note here when everything is working again, until then, please expect to encounter problems.
852 Prospect up - sort of

Walter is still working on Squidge, the archive is up but some things aren’t quite working yet. Some pages at 852 may not have the navigation menu at the top of the page because SSI isn’t working yet. Until Walter has a chance to fix that, I’ve put the links in manually on the archive’s home page.
And the archive may go down again as Walter continues working on the server so please be patient until we post a notice here that it’s all fixed completely.
Squidge down for awhile

Walter has taken Squidge down for awhile, hackers had been trying to break in and one did get in and start poking around. Walter has found the security hole they used so he’s taken the server offline to reinstall everything and plug the hole.
We don’t have any specifics on when it’ll be back up, it could be a day or two or more.
